Founded under MAC Basketball in 2014, Michael A. Canty set out on a mission to provide the highest quality representation, unmatched personal attention, guidance and service for top basketball talent for the German market. Fast-forward into 2026, where WYN Sports Group is handed the torch to provide this unique approach to players at the international level. The focus has now become navigating talented prospects through the NIL landscape while staying on course towards a successful pro career at the highest level.
Michael holds a degree in Management & Economics and has successfully completed his doctoral degree upon researching consumer behavior topics and decision-making strategies at the Otto-von-Guericke-University in Magdeburg, where he resides with his wife and his three children.
